1.⁠ ⁠Overview of the project
TR198/2024/2025/W/03 will be executed in all districts of Tanga region, which are Korogwe,Lushoto, Handeni, Tanga DC,Pangani,Mkinga and Muheza. The project aims to provide electricity to 180 Hamlets and connect 5940 initial-Customers in all 12 Constituencies of Tanga Region meaning that 15 Hamlets in every Constituency shall be electrified.

The duration of the project is 730 days equivalent to Twenty-four (24) months from 10th May, 2025.
The scope of work for Lot 1 in the original contract consists of LV 360 km, 179 transformers of 33/0.4KV, 100kVA, One Transformer of 11/0.4KV, 100KVA 5400 single-phase customers, and 540 three-phase customers.
